Servicing

We service, maintain and repair all brands and models of outboards, inboards and stern drive motors. We also rebuild hydraulic components including helms, steering actuators/cylinders, tilt trim rams etc.

In addition to our experienced marine background, we are also experienced in automotive and aviation maintenance. By combining our extensive technical background in all levels of transportation (land, sea & air), we are able to provide an unparalleled level of service and detail. Utilizing only the best industry practices across the board, you can rest assured that your boat is well taken care of.

A ‘service’ may vary between different service centres and mechanics. When the term ‘service’ is used in relation to a boat, it is generally interpreted as only changing oil filter, motor oil, gear oil, water pump & spark plugs. What about the boat and trailer?

Our services are not limited to only the motor, but the entire boat and trailer as well. Motor manufacturers have a list of service items to be performed at certain intervals by hour and calendar time. Not only do we use that as a baseline, we’ve developed our own in-house service and inspection checklist which is regularly updated.

Our comprehensive service and inspection checklist covers:

  • Motor Manufacturer’s Specified Service & Inspection Items
  • Additional Motor Service & Inspection Items (common faults & preventative measures)
  • Hull Inspection
  • Electrical Inspection
  • Safety Equipment Inspection
  • Trailer Inspection

We focus on identifying and preventing faults from occurring. As they say ‘prevention is better than a cure’. In the world of Aviation, a small fault on an aircraft could lead to catastrophic consequences. With that in our mindset, our checklist is partly derived from aviation maintenance standards.

Trailers

We service, maintain and repair all types of trailers. Our extensive trailer services don’t just stop at the bearings, from mechnical brakes to hydraulic repairs and upgrades, we do it all.

At present, we are currently unable to offer safety inspections for the purpose of renewing trailer registration.
